Conferral of academic awards
The annual academic awards ceremony takes place at the Priory Institute. Students receive their official award notification after the Autumn Examination Board. They are informed of the result and the date by Priory Institute administration team
Conferring, usually of degrees, diplomas and certificates takes place in the Priory Institute, Tallaght Village, Dublin 24. Invitation tickets are available on request for admission of guests to the ceremony and reception.
CONFERRING CEREMONY
Car Parking:
Free Parking is available. Enter as though you were coming to the church and then park in the main church car park.
Guest Invitations:
Each graduand may bring guests to the conferring ceremony, please let us know in advance the number of guests you wish to bring.
Photographs:
The official approved photographer on the day is Lafayette Photography for those who wish to obtain formal graduation portraits. The service will be open one hour before the ceremony commences. To avoid queues for order placement and payment on your graduation day you can pre-book orders for both photography and frames online at www.lafayette.ie.
Refreshments:
A buffet reception, for Graduates and their guests will be served after the ceremony.
Non Attendance at Conferring Ceremony:
If you are unable to attend the conferring ceremony, your parchment will be posted to the address indicated on the online form approximately two weeks after the ceremony. Don’t forget to notify student services if your home address changes.
