Lessons in Charity from Saint Catherine of Siena
A new public event has been added to the calendar this year, the inaugral annual lecture in honour of St Catherine of Siena to be given by Sr Catriona Kavanagh OP on 27 April at 7.30 pm in St Martin's Chapel, St Mary's Priory, Popes Quay, Cork.
Sr Caitriona is a native of Wexford, and entered the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia, commonly known as the Nashville Dominicans, in 2011. Before entering, she studied Pharmacy in Trinity College in Dublin and worked in retail and hospital pharmacy. Sr Caitriona has taught at elementary and high school levels in the U.S. and currently serves in Limerick as the Parish Administrator, Mission Superior and popular speaker on items of the Faith.
