Advent Retreat - Keeping Vigil for the Vulnerable God.

 This year, the Priory Institute offers a Free of Charge Online Advent retreat given by Stephen Cummins OP based on the four Advent Sunday gospel readings, it consists of a weekly reflection (approximately 15 minutes)  The relevant gospel readings may be downloaded by participants.

The four Advent reflections will be an invitation to explore the question : " What God are we awaiting to birth in us this Advent?".
We shall explore the four Sunday gospels as signposts to this question. At the heart of the 'God who comes' is a desire for God to share God's life with us. It speaks to us of the nearness and the pathos of God. We shall explore an aspect of the vulnerability of God. This vulnerable God being ' the God who could not but be born' ( Meister Eckart, OP).
